Oh my gosh yall....Lacy is only 2 and we are already Disney-holics!
Lacy went to Disney for the first time last December while I was on a busines trip in Orlando.
But since then, she has REALLY gotten into Disney.
She really loves just about all characters.

Plus she has like 30 Disney movies that she watches in the van all the time.
So we decided it was time to go back already.
We had decided to for sure go for Thanksgiving....
...but then I started researching our trip and found out that Thanksgiving is the 2nd busiest week at Disney (behind Christmas) and plus I got so excited about our trip I couldn't wait until then.

Well lucky for us we had a 4 day weekend coming up because of 4th of July! (Don't you just love this picture....look at the lady in the background....what did us mommies do while standing in line prior to the invention of the PDA???)
So on SUNDAY, we decided we would leave that Tuesday for Disney.
We found a GREAT hotel (the Omni in Kissimmee....we HIGHLY recommend), book our character meals, threw Lacy and Newty in the car and off we went!
The first night down we stayed in Brunswick, GA to break up the drive for Lacy.

Then arrived in Orlando around lunchtime on Wednesday.
We hung out in the pool for a few hours and then headed to the Magic Kingdom!
Here is the Pooh playground which Lacy looooooves.
We stood in line about 45 minutes that first night to see "Ariel".

Lacy kept saying, " I want to see Mermaid, I want to see Mermaid" but then when we got up there to see her she was star struck and too afraid to talk to her!!! Toddlers, I swear.
That night we had reservations to eat dinner in Cinderellla's castle.
It was incredible...
The fireworks were shot off over the castle while we ate.

Here is Lacy with her Royal Invitation to eat in the castle. She was very proud.
During dinner, they had a show with Fairy Godmother and her mice.
Let me tell you....Lacy LOVED those mice.
LOVED them!

She giggled hysterically through the whole show.
Jayme turned around to me and said "This whole trip was worth it just for that right there".
I couldn't agree more but it only got better!
They gave Lacy a magic wand when she left and she just loves that thing.

Before we even made it to the car that first night, she was sound asleep on my shoulder :-)
The next day we set off for more fun in the Magic Kingdom...we took the ferry over to the park instead of the monorail.
We had lots of characters we wanted to see that day and lots of rides we wanted to ride.
When we first got there we came up on a show in front of "C-rella"'s castle.

Of course, the most picturesque place in the park and all Lacy wants to do is drink her milk.
One cool thing we did was go to "Pixie Hollow" to see the Disney Fairies.
It was really neato...those girls do such a great job at being fairies!
Of course, Lacy got to meet Tinkerbell (or Tink in our house :-)

She was totally star struck by Tink...we do alot of talking about Tink and dressing up like Tink in our house....one time she even insisted on wearing her Tinkerbell outfit to the grocery store!
Awwwww....Lacy got to hug Tinkerbell.
This was Lacy's favorite fairy for the day.
That girl looked JUST like the fairy in the movie....when I told her that she said "Well I am the fairy in the movie....of course I look just like her!" I thought that was so funny....silly me for not realizing she was a movie star :-) The movie is animated by the way for all of you grown ups out there.

We took the train around the park and ended up in Adventureland where we ate lunch.
Lacy woke up from her nap just in time to see the awesome parade!
The Disney parades are simply incredible...but unfortunately they are always at 3...which fell right in the middle of Lacy's nap every single day.
Lacy got to ride her very favorite ride...It's a small world....she loves loves loves that ride. We took a bunch of video of it (check out the videos tab) because she loves to watch videos of that ride. She watches them over and over and over :-)

The great thing about Disney is that they have countless rides that the entire family can ride together.
Our 3rd day there we had originally planned to spend at Animal Kingdom...but we had just been there in December and upon further investigation we learned that all Lacy's favorite Disney Channel characters live at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
So we changed our plans and spent the day at Hollywood Studios
As soon as we got there we saw Tigger!

He is definately one of Lacy's favorites!
She was so excited to get to meet him :-)
Next we headed off to meet The Little Einsteins....I know many of you have had the pleasure of seeing Lacy "blast off" continuously....this comes from the Litlle Einsteins.
Here she is meeting Quincey.

She was so funny, we kept seeing all the Little Einstein characters walking around and when they would pass her she would say "Wow" or scream "Awesome!"
And here we are meeting Handy Manny who we watch every single morning while we are getting ready for work and school.
Our last day there was by far our favorite...we spent the day at Epcot.
Lacy and I had never been there and Jayme could barely remember it.

I think it is by far the best of the Disney parks...it's really incredible.
The very first thing we did was let Lacy meet all her favorite Mickey characters.
We had seen all the princesses and fairies and Disney Channel characters, but hadn't run into Mickey yet until we got to Epcot.
Here she is with Pluto....

She just loves those big furry characters!
And Minnie is her tee-total favorite of course
She kept giving all those characters kisses on the nose and I just knew she was going to come back with the swine flu or something!
Here is the whole family with Minnie!

Next we got to meet Donald Duck!
Have you ever seen such a happy kid;-)
And finally....Goofy! She was so excited when she saw Goofy until she discovered his big wiskers...then she decided maybe she didn't like him so much afterall!
The absolute highlight of our day at Epcot was our lunch.

Epcot is broken up into sections that are modeled after countries...there are about 10 countries.
We had lunch in Norway at a Royal Banquet Hall...
...with ALL 5 Disney Princesses!
It was SUCH a treat!

When we got there, Belle escorted Lacy and they got there picture taken.
Belle was definately Lacy's favorite princess that day :-)
Here she is with Aurora...Sleeping Beauty.
And "C-Rella" of course!

Snow White! Each princess came to our table and talked to Lacy individually.
And finally Ariel! We got real lucky to see all five...I think because it was a holiday that day we got a special treat to see all of the princesses.
Ariel came out without her fins and that totally tore Lacy up...she kept telling her and me that she wanted to see Ariel the Mermaid ( I think we have a video of this on the videos tab).
After lunch me and Lacy were being silly dressing up like Nordic princess warriors!

Then we went off on our tour of the countries....here is Jayme in Morrocco! I also got to do a "wine walk" through Italy, France and Germany...it was awesome!
Epcot is full of all kinds of educational exhibits...this one was supposed to teach your child how to escape out of a burning house....Lacy obviously didn't get the point.
I swear before we even got out of Orlando....Jayme looked at me and said "So when are we going back?"
I told him...you know we were originally planning to go at Thanksgiving :-)
